This pasta sauce recipe came about because we wanted a sauce that would not overpower the delicate flavour of our Goats Cheese and Honey Ravioli.
We had a couple of of trial runs that were pretty good but still not quite right and then we settled on this version. Why not try it for yourself.
To make 2 servings...
2 cloves Garlic, crushed
30ml Dry White WIne
10ml Lemon Juice
30ml Reduced Fat Sour Cream
Salt & Pepper to taste
Around 116 KCal per serving.
Melt the butter in a heavy bottomed pan over a low heat. Add the crushed garlic and fry gently for about a minute.
Add the flour and stir until it thickens.
Add the wine, lemon juice and creme fraiche, stirring well.
Check the seasoning, and add a little salt and pepper.
If the sauce is too thick add a little hot water and stir well.
Serve hot with your favourite pasta dish.
